不論是桌上型電腦或是筆記型電腦
在使用鍵盤輸入的情形之下
行列輸入法用的是30個鍵
30個鍵包含鍵盤上的26個英文字母
以及4個符號鍵（ ; / . , ）
加起來一共是30個鍵
初學行列輸入法的使用者
其實也不用太過擔心
因為這30個鍵的位置
不用特別去死記
只要你的指法正確
就可以很容易掌握鍵位
行列輸入法的指法
就跟英文打字一樣
要把食指分別放在 F 跟 J 上
其他的中指、無名指、小指就依序往左右二邊放
而手指放的這一列（橫的稱列）
就是行列輸入法的基本筆形
基本筆形如果你第一次接觸不熟悉也沒關係
你可以看到鍵盤上排有數字鍵
這些數字對下來的
就是行列的基本字根
所以A這個鍵，就是1
S代表2
D就是3
F是4
5是G
6是H
7是J
8是K
9是L
0是；
然後這10個鍵的上排有10個鍵
下排也有10個鍵
這30個鍵就是組成行列輸入法的按鍵
中間的這一排
名稱就分別為
1中、2中、3中、4中、5中、6中、7中、8中、9中、0中
上排的就是
1上、2上、3上、4上、5上、6上、7上、8上、9上、0上
下排的則是
1下、2下、3下、4下、5下、6下、7下、8下、9下、0下
這樣子你就明白行列輸入法的鍵位配置了
